We all connect with someone or something in this life. Whether it's family, friends, career, or hobbies, everyone can name some focal point for living. Here at Cross Roads Baptist, our interest is helping you make the most important connection of all, with God. Why God? It's simple: He loves you, and longs to be at the center of your life. Unfortunately, in our natural state it's utterly and completely impossible for us to be in that kind of relationship with Him. Strong words? You bet, but it's the truth.
Our natural inclination is to disobey God. When we do, it's called sin.  The natural result of sin is eternal separation from God, which is just the opposite of what He wants for us, and there's where He takes the initiative on our behalf.
God's only son was Jesus.  He walked this earth just like we do.  He experienced the passions of life just like we do.  He was just like us in all respects, except one...he never sinned.  Ever.  That made him the only one in the universe qualified to pay off our debt before God.  He willingly gave up his life to allow us to have a relationship with his Father, and all he asks in return is for us is to connect with him.
Fortunately, that IS simple to do.  Start by Agreeing with God that you're disobedient, then Believing that Jesus is who he said he is, and finally by Confessing your intent to honor Him with your life.  It's like A-B-C, and it's the truth.  What is the truth?  You'll find it in Jesus' own words: "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."  There's the connection.
Still not sure?  Check out our Frequently Asked Questions page.  Better yet, call or visit us.  You'll always find someone here willing to offer direction through the crossroads of life.

Give glory to God for His miraculous healing hand in the life of Anthony.  His recovery continues to amaze the surgeons who treated him.  He'll need prayer for one more treatment.  Pray for his family and the doctors who will treat him.  Give praise to God for the work He has done!
